Carnival’s Total Choice Dining brings a variety of indoor and outdoor venues and a choice of four settings in the main restaurants. Newer ships offer further choice, including flexible dining times and a selection of casual eateries. Complimentary cabin service is available. Informal attire is quite acceptable for dinner and evenings.
Entertainment on Carnival Cruises
All ships include a choice of pools, some with waterslides and retractable roofs, elaborate Las Vegas-style casinos, plenty of bars and nightspots as well as high-energy productions in the show lounges. The newest ships, Carnival Freedom, Splendor and Liberty, with others to follow, feature the Seaside Theatre – a poolside concert venue and big screen cinema. The SpaCarnival facilities include opportunities to work out or relax with a variety of pampering treatments.
Families on Carnival Cruises
A Carnival cruise is perfect for families, with plenty to keep both children and adults happy. The Carnival Fantasy-class ships are receiving a makeover, adding an adults-only sunbathing area, pool decks, a new lobby bar, expanded children’s and teen areas, and more inter-connecting cabins. Children’s unlimited soft drinks cards can be purchased on board.
Camp Carnival provides a fun-filled programme of activities for children in four age specific groups from 2 to 14. Club O2 is the venue for older teenagers to get together to play sport, listen to music and enjoy well-organised nightclubs and pool parties. Babysitting is available for ages 0-11 for an extra charge.
Cabins on Carnival Cruises
Carnival has recently upgraded its standard cabins to include robes, deluxe plush mattresses, soft duvets, high quality linens and pillows. A wide variety of cabins are available, from inside twins, ocean view and balcony cabins to plush Penthouse suites.
Excursions on Carnival Cruises
Carnival offers a comprehensive selection of shore excursions to suit everybody’s taste – from gentle walks, city tours and museum visits to jeep safaris, dogsled rides and diving expeditions.
